Review System

Overview: Each review will bear a series of “Marks”.  These Marks represent how much I like what I have reviewed.  A place or product with 0 Marks is one that has not even come close… I will not visit, buy, or recommend anything affiliated.  The maximum number of Marks that can be obtained is 100… this makes the rankings very simple.  If a place obtains 100 Marks then I am likely to try to live at that location, and if a product obtains 100 Marks I am likely to buy more than one (if appropriate), but at the minimum recommend the product to close family and friends.

What do I not like: I am not a very picky person, but there are a few things that just do not fly with me.  If the restroom in an establishment is disgusting then (especially if food is involved) not return, and at an equal level to this if there is no soap in the restroom then it is likely to receive 0 Marks.  I can usually give bad service another go, but if I am offended then that is the end for that location (this is hard).  Products are a different story, because I expect bang for the buck.  I can live with something breaking if it’s competitors charge $500, but this item cost only $50.  However, should something break I should be able to contact the proper people for replacement or compensation of some kind on larger purchases.  If your company employees 3rd party support and they suck at their jobs then your company will get 0 Marks out of me.

Why Marks: I didn’t want stars or hearts.  Marks sound cool.  Lends itself well to a cool graphic in the future.
